Tips For Interview!!!

 Filling Up Of Application Forms.

(a)        The application from should be neatly typed without any mistakes.  Affix your recent photograph preferably wearing a tie to give a smart look.
(b)        Attested certificates enclosed should be attested by authorized Gazetted Officer.

     Personal Information Questionnaire (PIQ).         

(a)        While filling up PIQ, be very careful of facts and figures and spelling mistakes.  Avoid cuttings/overwriting etc.

(b)        Each info appended by you should be correct and as per the questionnaire.


(c)        You should have good knowledge of those activities such as hobbies, sports and games and activities you fill up, as questions may be based on this information.


(d)       Invariably candidates don’t write their identification marks in the identification forms stating that there are no ‘visible’ identification arks.



 

 Body Language/Behaviour During Interview.

(a)        Be Informed. While waiting for interview in waiting hall, make use of the time, read all information placed in (WH) or go through some reading material or watch some news/match on the TV if available.
(b)       Time Management Demand.            When called for interview look at the watch for time, seek permission to enter and wish good morning/good A/N as per the time.


(c)        Body Language.        While sitting in front of interviewer sit with an “ open guard” i.e. keep legs slightly apart, hands on the arms of chair and head erect and look at the interviewer with confidence avoiding gestures.


(d)       Eye Contact.  Eye contact is very important.  Look into the eyes of the interviewer, do not look or left/right while answering question.  At the same do not give the impression of bin dazed or staring at the Interviewer.


(e)        Posture.          Do not shake legs or play with your fingers or clutch your fingers or change you posture during the interview
(f)        Attitude.         Maintain cheer on your face and do not loose your temper even if the Interviewer is trying to put pressure/corner you in a situation


(g)         Be Focused.  It is important to be attractive and listen to the question being passed by the Interviewer so as to comprehend the question in its eternity and reply complimentry.  Do not ramble.  Appreciate all the imp aspects of the questions and answer accordingly.


(h)       At the end of interview, if given a choice to ask a question do not leave the opportunity, ask one relevant question.  Do not ask Sir, what is your rank or what is your name.  Try and ask a question which may add to your knowledge regarding services you are going to join
